What kind of mattress do I use with the King Wood Platform Bed?
The bed’s wooden slats support most innerspring king size mattresses. For a memory foam mattress, you will need a solid surface to keep it from sinking. If you plan to use a memory foam mattress, you can add a 1/8” thick masonite board or extra slats to your order. These options are available in the Accessories tab above.Will I need a box spring?
Box springs are not needed with the King Wood Platform Bed.Can you build custom size wooden platform beds?
We can build wood platform beds to any custom dimensions within reason. If the size that you’re looking for isn’t available on our website, you can contact us directly with your request. There is a customization fee of $65, plus $40 per foot.For more information, please visit our FAQ Page.
