Are you tired of consumer goods are obsolete in just a few years? At BigBeds.com, we are happy to buck that trend and strive to build bed frames that last a lifetime. We uses only the highest quality American aluminum to construct our beds. This is how we guarantee unparalleled strength and a massive weight capacity. It also provides a durable product that can withstand the rigorous wear and tear.

We put a massive amount of time, energy, and resources into building our beds and accessories. We don’t want to ship out any products that will become waste within a decade. That is why we’re committed to adhering to an environmentally responsible manufacturing process. Our bed frames are 100% recyclable and eco-friendly.

The aluminum we use is certified by the US Green Building Council (USGBC). It is eligible for LEED Materials and Resources (MR) 4 credits. If a time comes when you no longer need your bed anymore, you can bring it to a certified and equipped facility. They will recycle the materials for future use. No need to throw them away somewhere where they won’t break down for a long, long time.

MR credits are all about minimizing the “embodied energy” used to produce a product. They calculate the environmental impacts of extracting, processing, transporting, maintaining, and disposing of the materials. Our aluminum is the same metal used to construct commercial railings and columns. It’s forged with a LEED-certified manufacturing process. To achieve certification, your process and product must meet certain requirements. This ensures that it is “designed to…promote resource efficiency.”

We handcraft every bed to order, so we do not accumulate excess wasted materials or unused parts. We maintain a streamlined manufacturing process that adheres to the LEED certification standards. This results in high-quality beds produced with minimal environmental effects. Our beds are made to last a lifetime, and we want that to be a long and healthy lifetime for all our customers and beyond.
